Description
Red Wine:
Originated from Quinta da Pedra Escrita with the use of grapes from non-irrigated vineyards. The grapes grown in organic production mode with varieties of Touriga Nacional, Jaen and Sousão.
Alcohol content of 14%.
Notes of an intense and very fresh aroma, showing well the cool summer nights at altitude in the Upper Douro. The aroma is marked by violets, black and red fruits, characteristic of the grapes that originated it, in balance with very subtle notes of French barrels. In the mouth, the freshness, acidity and lively tannins denote the soil and climate and hint at longevity, then you can feel all the notes of the aroma in an elegant and long set.
Verdelho Wine:
Contains an intense critical aroma, with tropical notes and mineral character. Aging on fine lees provided an unusual volume in the mouth, very fresh and with vibrant acidity. Produced at Quinta da Pedra Escrita, in the Douro Region, Portugal.
Alcohol content 13.5%.
White Wine:
An aroma with extreme complexity and great longevity. 1/4 of the wine ferments in used French oak wood and applied there after a short racking on fine lees with periodic battonage until the final batch is made at the end of spring.
